Privacy Policy
ZOUBA is a travel planning app. This policy explains what information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you.
Information we process
We process account identifiers and email addresses when you sign in; trips, itinerary stops, notes, saved places, and preferences that you create; optional location data only when you ask to use your current location; purchase and entitlement status; and diagnostic information needed to operate and secure the service.
How we use information
We use this information to save and sync itineraries, generate routes and exports, provide AI-assisted imports and recommendations, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and answer support requests. We do not sell personal information.
AI and external services
Text, screenshots, or links you choose to import may be sent to our backend and AI service provider for processing. ZOUBA also uses Supabase for authentication and cloud storage, RevenueCat and Apple for subscriptions, Apple or Google for sign-in, mapping and place providers for search and photos, and Open-Meteo for weather. These providers process data under their own terms.
Location
Location access is optional. We request it only after you choose a location-based action, such as using your current location as a route anchor. You can revoke access in iOS Settings.
Retention and deletion
On-device data remains until you remove it or delete the app. Cloud data remains while your account is active or as required for security and legal obligations. You can delete your account from Profile > Settings > Delete Account. This permanently deletes your cloud trips, saved places, profile, and sign-in account.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards but no service can guarantee absolute security. ZOUBA is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Your choices
You can use on-device mode without signing in, edit or delete trip content, disable location access, manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings, and request privacy assistance by email.
